The Buckeye Art Therapy (BATA) Association, one of the oldest, largest and most active art therapy associations in the country will be launching an ART SALE on April 15, 2010. As art therapists, art therapy students, and community members – we believe in the creative process as an agent for resolving conflicts, reducing stress, increasing self-awareness and achieving insight.
- By participating in an ART SALE, BATA members have an opportunity to DONATE their ART as a vehicle to respond to the disaster in Haiti and provide relief efforts using the creative process.
- The general public can respond to relief efforts by DONATING $10.00-$50.00 toward a worthy cause – and RECEIVING an expressive piece of ART demonstrating HOPE and HEALING.
- Using the universal language of ART, Artists and Art Collectors work together CREATING CHANGE for the people of Haiti.
